Sarah's Poster on Order of Operations

© Sarah Jacobs
On some days, I cheat and post my daughters' creations. Since I helped create my daughters, their creations are sort of mine, right? This was Sarah's math assignment, to come up with a mnemonic device to remember the order of operations in formulas (parentheses, exponents, multiplication, division, addition, subtraction).

  1. That's brilliant! She's sure to remember them now. Good plan too. I was thinking of mother daughter combos during March break.

  2. It's not cheating if you're keeping it in the family. :) Cool mnemonic pic!
