I like to participate in illustration and other creative challenges like
Doodle Day. But I often get distracted and end up not completing them.
Inspired by my critique mate Teresa Robeson (check out
One Good Thing, her 365 day challenge), and needing an accountability mechanism, I have decided to commit to this: Create One a Day. It doesn't have to be art. It just has to be something I made that didn't exist before.
So here's my first entry. This illustration goes with
my holiday story entry for Susanna Hill's 4th Annual Holiday Writing Contest.
If you would like to join me, drop me a line on the contact form or in the comments, and I'll add your daily challenge site to my blogroll on this site.
What fun! I am so glad you're doing this too. That's an awesome inaugural post! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for being my inaugural commenter!

DeleteYou and Teresa are so inspiring, Sylvia! I might need to take the plunge....
ReplyDeleteYes, do join us Victoria. It's low pressure - just take a photo of a meal you made, and that will take care of a day. . .
